ONZE KAAZ Cumin Young 48+ is part of a series of cheeses with a special recipe from MAAZ Cheese with the addition of cumin seeds. This Northern Dutch cheese is made with great care at Kaasmakerij Heerenveen. This cheese factory is unique in the Netherlands in terms of technology and is known for producing cheese of a very consistent, high quality. 100% meadow milk and vegetarian rennet are used in the preparation of ONZE KAAZ Cumin Jong 48+. The natural yellow color is enhanced by the use of carotene: a vegetable color extract. This substance is found in carrots, among other things, and is not considered an E number.

To achieve the maximum taste and consistency for cumin cheese in all age categories, it is necessary to use two different recipes: young to mature and extra mature to over-aged. The cheeses from young to mature are characterized by an exceptionally smooth and creamy taste, but are easy to slice.
