ONZE KAAZ Cumin young matured 48+ is a cheese made based on a special recipe from MAAZ Cheese with the addition of cumin seeds. This beautiful Northern Dutch cheese is part of a series of cheeses made at Kaasmakerij Heerenveen.

This cheese factory is unique in the Netherlands in terms of technology and is known for producing cheese of a very consistent, high quality. To achieve maximum taste in all age categories and consistency, it is necessary to develop two different recipes: young to mature and extra mature to over-aged. The cheeses from young to mature are characterized by exceptional smoothness and creaminess, but are easy to slice. 100% meadow milk and vegetarian rennet are used in the preparation of ONZE KAAZ Cumin young matured. The natural yellow color is slightly enhanced with a vegetable color extract: carotene. This substance comes from, among other things, carrots and is not considered an E number.
